This is an initiative founded on February 1st 1991. The management of West Rand Music Festival has resided with Western Ensemble’s Board form 2012. Western Ensemble was registered as a non-profit company on 2012/10/31.
This is an Annual Music Festival held in May, for all, from young to old participate. Together all musicians make beautiful music; this gift is combined with lots of fun and laughter.
Professional Adjudication takes place. After each session the participant’s certificates and mark sheets will be handed out and on Saturday a Prize giving Ceremony will be held at the close of the 2014 Festival.
This year the festival will run from the 8th to the 10th of May.
The Accordion day selection is on the 10th May.
